You must be at least 13 years old to sign up. The birth date you provide is used solely to hide 18+ content from minors. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
Coins is an in-platform virtual currency with no monetary value outside Comic Suns. Purchases made with Coins are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.
Creators retain ownership of the comics they upload and are solely responsible for their content — story, artwork, dialogue, subject matter, and any opinion or artistic expression it contains. By uploading a comic, the creator represents and warrants that they hold all necessary rights to the content, that it does not infringe any third party's rights (copyright, personal data, image rights, etc.), and that it does not violate applicable law. Comic Suns acts as a hosting provider (an intermediary service) and not as the publisher or co-author of uploaded content; free artistic expression is welcome, but legal responsibility for what a creator publishes rests exclusively with that creator. By publishing, the creator grants Comic Suns a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote that content within the platform, and agrees to indemnify Comic Suns for any damage, claim, or legal cost arising from illegal or infringing content they posted.
In fellowships, comments, reviews, and any form of communication between users, everyone expresses themselves freely and at their own responsibility. Opinions, theories (including conspiracy theories), or any other content a user posts in these spaces belong solely to that user and do not represent Comic Suns' position or endorsement. Comic Suns does not proactively monitor every message, but reserves the right to remove content, suspend accounts, and — where required by law — cooperate with the relevant authorities, if a user uses the platform for illegal activity (e.g. defamation, incitement to violence or hatred, harassment, spreading dangerous misinformation). In the event of illegal content, legal responsibility rests exclusively with the user who posted it.
Comic Suns may withhold a listing fee or commission on sales, as described on the platform. Payout requests are subject to manual review before settlement. For creators without a registered business (ΑΦΜ activity) in Greece, payment is issued via a Greek Τίτλος Κτήσης receipt, following the e-ΕΦΚΑ/myAADE procedure. Before a first withdrawal, the creator must provide their full legal name, tax ID (ΑΦΜ), social security number (ΑΜΚΑ), home address, and IBAN, used solely to issue the receipt and to remit the statutory withholdings (income tax, stamp duty, social security contributions) before the net amount is paid out.
Content (in comics, comments, or discussions) that promotes hate, violence, harassment, exploitation of minors, or is otherwise illegal is prohibited. Any user can report content they consider problematic using the platform's reporting tools. Comic Suns reserves the right to remove content and suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, at its sole discretion.
Comic Suns is provided "as is", acts as an intermediary host for third-party content (from creators and users), and is not liable for content posted by users to the extent it did not have actual knowledge of illegal content and acts promptly to remove it once notified. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the platform.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
